# Verification

> Verify your company to publish listings and accept opportunities: who can apply, what the form asks for and what each status means.

Selling on GPU Outlet starts with verifying your company. The GPU Outlet team reviews your registration and confirms what kind of seller you are.

## Why verification is required

Verification gates the two acts that commit your company:

* **Publishing capacity.** Only a verified company can publish a listing.
* **Accepting opportunities.** Accepting needs a verified company and a signed current seller agreement. See [Opportunities](/selling/opportunities).

The kind of seller you are verified as also decides the badge buyers see on your listings. See [Listings](/selling/listings#what-buyers-see-on-radar).

## Before you apply

You need:

* A company. If you have none yet, create it first. See [Company](/account/company).
* The role **Owner** or **Authorized signatory** in that company. See [Team and roles](/account/team-and-roles).

Sending an application does not ask for your second factor.

## Where to apply

1. Switch to **Sell**.
2. Open **Company** at `/app/company`.
3. Open the **Verification** tab.

The **Verification** tab appears only on the **Sell** menu.

## Fill in the application

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose what kind of seller you are">
    Under **What kind of seller are you?**, pick one:

    * **Direct provider**: you own or operate the hardware you list.
    * **Authorized reseller**: you resell capacity you have a documented right to sell.

    The team confirms this during review. If your paperwork says otherwise, the review decides.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your company details">
    | Field | Required |
    | - | - |
    | **Company registration number** | Yes |
    | **Tax ID / VAT number** | Yes |
    | **Registered address** | Yes |
    | **Bank account (IBAN or equivalent)** | Yes |
    | **Bank name** | Yes |
    | **Contact for verification questions** | Yes |
    | **Anything else we should know** | No |

    Enter the registered address as it appears on your registration, not where the hardware is.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload your documents">
    | Upload | Required |
    | - | - |
    | **Certificate of registration** | Yes |
    | **Proof of the right to sell** | No |

    Each file must be a PDF, PNG or JPEG, up to 25 MB. Proof of the right to sell can be an allocation contract, a letter of authorization, or the provider's written confirmation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the application">
    Press **Send application**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Application statuses

After you send the application, the **Verification** tab shows its status.

| Status | What it means | What you do |
| - | - | - |
| **In review** | The team is reviewing your application. | Wait. You cannot send a second application meanwhile. |
| **Verified** | Your company is approved. The tab says what it is verified as. | Nothing. You can publish capacity. |
| **Not approved** | The team declined the application and left a reason. | Fix what the reason names, then use **Apply again**. |
| **Revoked** | The team withdrew an earlier approval and left a reason. | Fix what the reason names, then use **Apply again**. |

<Note>
  You are not notified when the team approves or declines an application. Check the **Verification** tab to see the decision.
</Note>

If the team later revokes your verification or changes your seller type, owners receive a notification in the dashboard.

Documents from an application that was not approved are deleted 30 days after the decision.

## After approval

Once your company is verified, the registered address is fixed as soon as it is set, and changing the legal name or country asks for a code from your authenticator app. See [Company](/account/company#after-verification).

## Troubleshooting

When your company cannot accept opportunities yet, a readiness message appears on **Company**, on **My Listings** and on an open opportunity. On **My Listings**, it ends with "Until then, an opportunity offered to these listings cannot be accepted." Publishing itself needs only verification, not the agreement.

| Message | What to do |
| - | - |
| "Create your company first." | Create a company. See [Company](/account/company). |
| "Apply for seller verification. Selling needs an approved company." | Send an application on the **Verification** tab, or wait for the review. |
| "The seller agreement is not published yet. Nothing to sign for now." | Nothing. The GPU Outlet team has not published the agreement yet. |
| "Sign the Seller Marketplace & Success Fee Agreement." | Sign it on **Documents**. See [Agreements](/account/agreements). |
| "The seller agreement has a new version. Sign the current one." | Sign the new version on **Documents**. |

Messages you may see when sending the application:

| Message | What to do |
| - | - |
| "An application from your company is already in review." | Wait for the decision. |
| "Your company is already verified." | Nothing to do. |
| "Attach your certificate of registration. It is the document the review is about." | Upload the **Certificate of registration**. |
