# Opportunities

> Review buyer demand matched to your listings, accept to reveal the buyer, or decline without revealing your company.

An opportunity is buyer demand that the GPU Outlet team matched to one of your listings. It shows what the buyer needs, never who the buyer is. You accept it to be introduced, or you decline it.

## When you get an opportunity

When the team offers you an opportunity, your company's owners and authorized signatories are notified. The email subject is "A buyer is looking for capacity like yours".

You can switch these notices off under **Opportunities** and **Opportunities by email**. See [Notifications](/account/notifications).

## The Opportunities page

Open **Opportunities** at `/app/opportunities` on the **Sell** menu. The page has four tabs.

| Tab | What it lists |
| - | - |
| **New** | Opportunities waiting for your decision. |
| **Accepted** | Opportunities your company accepted. |
| **Protected** | The introductions created by accepting. See [Seller introductions](/selling/introductions). |
| **Declined** | Opportunities your company declined. |

Open a row to see the opportunity in full.

## What the opportunity shows

The card **What the buyer needs** shows:

| Row | Content |
| - | - |
| **Capacity** | GPUs per node, GPU model, number of nodes, and total GPUs. |
| **Region** | The region the buyer asked for. |
| **Starts** | The start date. |
| **Term** | A number of months, or an end date. |
| **Budget** | A monthly budget, or "Budget not stated". |

Before you accept, you do not see the buyer's company name or country. You never see the notes the buyer wrote for the team.

## Accept and reveal the buyer

### Requirements

To accept, all of these must hold:

* Your company is verified. See [Verification](/selling/verification).
* Your company has signed the current **Seller marketplace agreement**. See [Agreements](/account/agreements).
* Your role is **Owner**, **Authorized signatory** or **Trader**.

If a requirement is missing, the opportunity shows what to do and the accept button is disabled.

### Accept

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the opportunity">
    On the **New** tab, open the opportunity and press **Accept & reveal the buyer**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the terms">
    The dialog **Accept this opportunity?** lists the terms you agree to. See [The terms](#the-terms).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Press **Accept Opportunity & Reveal Buyer**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Accepting does not ask for your second factor. The buyer is revealed as soon as you press the button.

After accepting, the dashboard opens the new introduction.

### The terms

By accepting, your company agrees that:

* You pay a success fee of 1% of every amount you actually receive from this buyer.
* The fee applies to contracts signed within 24 months of the reveal. The dialog also names the demand's start date.
* You have 2 business days to claim an existing relationship with this buyer, with evidence.
* You contract with the buyer directly. The buyer pays you directly.
* Each time you confirm **Money received** on a deal invoice, the success fee on that amount is invoiced. It is due 5 business days after you confirm **Money received**.

Business days are Monday to Friday in UTC. Public holidays count as business days. For how the fee is calculated and paid, see [Success fee](/selling/success-fee).

<Warning>
  Accepting cannot be undone. If your company already knew this buyer, file an existing relationship claim within 2 business days. See [Seller introductions](/selling/introductions).
</Warning>

## What is revealed, and to whom

| Party | Receives |
| - | - |
| Your company | The buyer's company name and country. The email and role of each of the buyer's owners and authorized signatories. |
| The buyer | Your company's legal name and country. |

The buyer does not receive your contacts. You reach out to the buyer. The buyer is notified that a seller accepted their request.

## Decline an opportunity

1. Open the opportunity on the **New** tab.
2. Press **Decline**.
3. In **Decline this opportunity?**, press **Decline** again, or **Keep it** to go back.

Nothing about your company is shown to the buyer.

<Warning>
  You cannot take a decline back. The same demand may be offered to another seller.
</Warning>

## Expired and withdrawn opportunities

The GPU Outlet team can mark an opportunity **Expired** or **Withdrawn** before you answer it. You can no longer accept or decline it.

These opportunities are not listed on any tab. You see the label only on the opportunity's own page, for example when you open it from the notification or the email about the offer.

## Troubleshooting

When a requirement is missing, the opportunity page shows a readiness message. See [Verification](/selling/verification#troubleshooting) for those messages.

If your role cannot act, the page says "Only an owner, signatory or trader can accept or decline an opportunity." and shows no buttons.

If the accept dialog refuses, it shows one of these:

| Message | What to do |
| - | - |
| "Apply for seller verification first. Selling needs an approved company." | Apply on **Company** → **Verification**, or wait for the review. |
| "Sign the Seller Marketplace & Success Fee Agreement first." | Sign it on **Documents**. |
| "The seller agreement has a new version. Sign the current one first." | Sign the new version on **Documents**. |
| "The seller agreement is not published yet, so nobody can accept an opportunity for now." | Nothing. Try again later. |
| "Your role in the company does not carry this. An owner, signatory or trader can." | Ask a colleague with one of those roles. |
| "Somebody in your company already accepted this opportunity. Open it under Protected." | Open the **Protected** tab. |
| "This opportunity is no longer open." | It is no longer offered to you. Reload the page to see its status. |
